Virginia Telederm offers you one-on-one real-time appointments with an experienced dermatology clinician. Dr. Margaret (Maggie) Constante is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has worked exclusively in dermatology since 2004. She specializes in the care of eczema, acne, and hair loss and works with patients of all ages. She believes that access to expertise is critical and is offering telemedicine visits to improve access particularly for urgent needs. She also believes it is critical for patients to be seen in person as soon as reasonably possible and recommends that you make an appointment with a dermatologist in follow up to your telemedicine consult.
Medical dermatology conditions treated via this platform include: acne, rosacea, contact dermatitis, skin discoloration, cellulitis, rashes, nail issues, hair loss, cold sores, sun damage or actinic keratosis, eczema, psoriasis, seborrheic keratosis or benign skin tumors, dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis.
Care includes a thorough video evaluation, recommendations, follow-up guidance and prescriptions if needed.
At Virginia Telederm, we do not work with insurance providers; however, will provide you with a Superbill you can submit to your insurer upon request.

About Us
Margaret J. Constante, Nurse Practitioner, has practiced more than 18 years exclusively in medical dermatology after six years of acute care surgery and trauma nursing at the Medical College of Virginia. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner earning her Doctor of Nursing, from Old Dominion University in 2014 and her Master's Degree in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004.
She received her Bachelor's Degree from Norfolk State University where she graduated first in her class with Summa Cum Laude distinction in 1998. She works full-time at a private dermatology clinic in Petersburg and is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society.
